Syfte och mål
The aim for this first phase of the program was to adapted the EIDS technology to the Blackwing main wing and perform test on a 1,5-meter-long wing section.
Resultat och förväntade effekter
The test made indicated some adjustments to the expected theoretical assumptions. The tested configuration indicates we can achieve an efficient system fulfilling SLD requirements.
Upplägg och genomförande
The project was executed as a standard adaptation project with minimum influence on the rest of the aircraft structure and to achieve SLD ice removal capability wit a limited weight and power penalty.
