Syfte och mål

The research has shown the utilization of gluten free plant resources for conceptual and prototype generations of healthy gluten free products for Europe and high protein foods for Africa. The result can diversify cooperation between Nigeria and Sweden in the area of bioeconomy. The collaborative research has increased my visibility of conducting research projects in collaboration with other researchers and institutions globally. The programme has positioned me to aim at developing innovative research capability from integrated perspectives both theoretically and practical

Resultat och förväntade effekter

The outcomes have developed possibility for production of high protein gluten free pasta for western markets and high protein snack to meet food security challenges in Nigeria both for cocreation. The results can be used by industries in Sweden and Nigeria which can transform our food systems. My skill is enhanced in terms of capacity for practical project management and competence by working with more experienced scientists. Exposure to social European environment has enabled me fit into dynamic global social character which will facilitate cooperation between Nigeria and Sweden

Upplägg och genomförande

The project plan was well adhered to during implementation by allowing me to conduct teaching of students in my University and coordinating meetings with stakeholders Nigeria for sustainable collaboration between Sweden and Nigeria during the grant period. My research programmes in Sweden was smoothly conducted with cooperation from the host organization RISE. The attendance of scientific meetings like seminars, conferences too was also achieved as stipulated in the project plan.
