Syfte och mål
There are stringent safety and environmental regulations for power plants. To meet these goals, the systems operators need to improve systems diagnosis and operation. Some applications are: safety: reduction of the number of safety related events environmental: reduction of the emission of pollutants and/or of energy consumption economical: reduction of the time length of system shutdown for maintenance The modeling and simulation (M&S) community has been proved to provide purpose technology based on open standards e.g. Modelica language andFMI (Functional Mockup Interface)
Resultat och förväntade effekter
The project has successfully extend modeling and simulation tools based on open standards from system design to system operation. The project required a ´Collaboration demonstrator´ comprised of a ´Web based graphical user interface´ whereby Siemens and Siemen´s customers can work together to agree on an installation of a Gas Turbine, specifically SGT-750 and SGT-800. This agreement will be based on Mathematical Model Simulations of the Gas Turbine and installation generated with the ´OpenModelica´ modeling platform.
Upplägg och genomförande
To ensure the quality of deliverables, the following organization has been used: An Excel file called `MODRIO Deliverables Statistics´ is deployed to monitor the progress of the deliverables and provide useful statistics: status (`not started´, `started´, `under review´, `finished´, `cancelled´), progress rate (from 0 to 100%), planned and actual advance or delay, etc. For each deliverable, two additional fields has been used in the `MODRIO Deliverables Statistics´ file. They contain the name and feedback of the internal reviewer of the deliverable.
