Syfte och mål
Digitalization is currently fundamentally transforming all industries. Key to this transformation are wireless, fully autonomous factories, buildings and critical infrastructure based on Cyber-Physical Systems and the Internet of Things (IoT). Security and dependability are key obstacles in this transformation, and in particular for the cases when the IoT connects critical infrastructure and processes. Our project will provide security for such IoT applications.
Resultat och förväntade effekter
Our project will provide security for IoT and target e.g. large deployments which rely on several thousands of possibly resource-constrained sensors and actuators, a setting of uttermost relevance for the competitiveness of the Swedish industry. Other examples include commercial buildings which also rely on thousands of sensors and actuators. Through this project we are setting up a consortium that aims to ensure dependability, i.e., security and performance even under active attacks which also requires attack detection, and mitigation of ongoing attacks.
Upplägg och genomförande
The goal of the pre-study was to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats and the resources, in particular the right set of partners, that make the subsequent Celtic Plus project a success. Unfortunately, during this pre-study, some of the partners that had already committed for the Celtic Plus project proposal withdraw which strongly affected our plans. After careful considerations and discussions with VINNOVA we decided to postpone the proposal to the fall. We are now regularly meeting with committed and interested partners to ensure a successful proposal then.
