This grant has allowed the applicant to meet with researchers at the visited institutes, to establish specific shared interests and to exchange supplementary expertise on location-based services research and (mobile) social media research methodology. This has allowed for setting up contacts for future collaboration, and presentation of research of SICS and Mobile Life Centre to leading US institutes. Interests for collaboration were further established and relevant new contacts were made.

Upplägg och genomförande

New relevant contacts for research development and collaboration were made. Focus for the development of a definitive proposal has been on one of the visited US partners. The intent to establish the required cofunding for a definitive proposal was indicated by the US partner, this however could not be secured before the final deadline; other possibilities for collaboration will now be sought.
