Bidrag från Vinnova 500 000 kronor
Projektets löptid november 2012 - maj 2013
Status Avslutat

Syfte och mål

The aim of this project was to develop a Green Infrastructure Material Innovation (GIMI) agenda that has the possibility to establish a paradigm shift in Sweden´s infrastructure sector, making Sweden a front-running nation for a sustainable society and a global leader in GIMInnovation products.

Resultat och förväntade effekter

A detailed GIMI agenda and Research & Innovation environment has been developed in this project. The GIMI agenda contains a description of the infrastructure sector and why GIMI will innovate this sector, why this is important for a sustainable society and how this will be done through the GIMI environment. The agenda contains a detailed roadmap from 2013 till 2030, with specified activities and milestones. The GIMI environment is divided into 11 sub-strategic environments and a clear management structure for its overall coordination with active roles for all stakeholders.

Upplägg och genomförande

The formed GIMI agenda and strategic research and innovation environment has been developed through a close collaboration between its partners. A series of strategic meetings, lunch discussions and workshops lead into a clear vision of where and how Green Infrastructure Material Innovations can be developed. The various roles of the stakeholders (e.g. material supplier, infrastructure design, infrastructure owners or knowledge providers) where hereby taken into close consideration. Special attention was given to the combination of education, research and innovation.
