Collaborative innovation going up stream - Cingus

Syfte och mål

The overall objective for the CINGUS- Collaborative Innovation Going Up Stream, is that by increasing collaboration and implementation of practical innovation-oriented learning process project between Swedish cluster, between Swedish and Chinese partners, have created the ability of Swedish companies and the Triple Helix actors (academia, business and public sector) to collaborate and make business between Sweden and China. The concrete goals including to initiate demo projects in Sweden and China, and packaging the experiences in cluster cooperation.

Resultat och förväntade effekter

A documented collaboration and learning process is achieved by planing and implementing common activities in China and Sweden, and engaging in project summary discussion and share experiences. Both clusters has increased their knowledge about each other and also gained experiences about cross cluster collaboration. Collaboration between Swedish and Chinese partners is achieved by trips and communication between two sides. There are clearly interests and need for collaboration for next steps. Demonstration projects has been discussed in China and inplemented in Sweden.

Upplägg och genomförande

The two clusters selected related partners to join the project. To reach the goals, the project team has done following activities and they are implemented in 3 stages: Stage 1: initialization of the project : Activity 1, kick-off (December, 2012) Activity 2, Chinese delegation visits Sweden (April, 2013) Activity 3, FPX trip to Wuhan and Wuxi (June) Stage 2: development of the project: Activity 4, Joint Trip to Wuxi and Nanjing (Septembe) Stage 3: Summary and planning for future steps: Activity 5. Summary meeting in Gävle (November) Activity 6, Reporting in VINNOVA (January, 2014)
