Viktiga resultat som projektet gav

The goal of the analysis was to investigate the importance of large enterprises and therefore the analysis was done at the enterprise group level. The current production and dissemination of statistics in the Nordic countries operate with the legal unit as the statistical unit. By using the group approach, enterprises which have organised their functions in a complex way by having several legal units for e.g. production, wholesale and R&D can be treated in a comparable way to enterprises which have organised all their functions in one legal unit.

Långsiktiga effekter som förväntas

The Nordic statistical institues has for this project established harmonised databases stored in each institute comprising economic data and data about the qualifications of the employees at enterprise group level. For more detailed results, see the PowerPoint presentation and the methodological report annexed. Furthermore, two Excel tables have been sent separately by email.
