Our scouts share faint signals they've picked up in the present that tell them something about the future - things that could grow into something new or disruptive. It could be about anything from emerging technologies and geopolitics to the future of partying or how Christmas might be celebrated.
The rules are simple: Each scout has five minutes to scout, followed by a short joint reflection where we discuss what we just heard.
Please tell colleagues and contacts who might be curious!

What is strategic foresight?
Strategic foresight is a set of methods for systematically identifying and understanding trends, risks and opportunities. Strategic foresight enables long-term planning and flexibility for alternative future scenarios. Through strategic foresight, organisations can prepare for different futures and manage uncertainties in the external environment.
Forsight wednesday premiered in the fall of 2021 and has since been arranged 55 times with visits from more than 150 different scouts from both Vinnova and other organisations.
