Indo-Swedish Joint Call for Proposals within Circular Economy

CLOSING EXTENDED TO THE 17TH OF AUGUST. ONE OF THE INDIAN FUNDING AGENCIES, DST, FUND ONLY ACADEMIC PARTICIPANTS. The call for proposals is open to organisations in Sweden and India wishing to collaborate. The call is a part of the implementation of the Sweden-India Innovation Partnership. The partnership aims to strengthen our science and innovation collaboration, to jointly create and strengthen competitiveness and address global challenges such as climate change and sustainable development through innovation. The purpose of the call is to support research and innovation projects that are highly relevant for, and support a, transition towards a circular economy. Swedish applicants submit their application to Formas, which is the responsible agency on the Swedish side.

What can you apply for?

Projects within Circular economy. Projects should result in new knowledge, products, services, or processes. We fund research and development activities in Sweden in collaboration with Indian project partners. Projects may be up to three years long.

Who can apply?

Organisations in Sweden that want to collaborate with organisations in India. We encourage participation from actors in Sweden such as enterprises, universities, university hospitals, colleges, research institutes or other relevant actors.

How much can you apply for?

You can apply for up to MSEK 6. Non-economic research performing organisations may receive up to 100 percent, while companies and public actors seeking funding are expected to co-finance their eligible costs. Available Swedish funding: MSEK 69.
