Syfte och mål

On a technology level, Innoscentia will become a key provider of printablegas sensors for differentapplicationsand develop printabletechnologies thatenables smart labels that has not been affordable to producein highvolumes at low cost.Major milestones in the project will be: 1) perform a feasibility study, 2) developa printable food spoilage sensor,3) Bring the innovation intothe level of industrial readiness, 4) market introduction, 5) successfully commercialise by achieving at least 5% market share for smart food labels by 2023.

Förväntade effekter och resultat

Implement a circuit to shift and scale the sensor signal for Near Field Communication (NFC)compatibility-Developing a process for integration of circuit, tags and other counterparts for producing the smart label on pilot scale-Testing and verification of technical features-Assessment of the viable production methods and costs of the integrated sensor readout circuit. The long-term goal of this SCENSIORproject is to contribute to the reduction of food waste and increase food safety.

Planerat upplägg och genomförande

The Project will provide printable gas sensors for different applications and printable technologies that enables smart labels. Such labels have not been possible to produce in high volumes at low cost. The expected outcome of this project is a low-cost, fully industrialized smart label by developing a circuit to enable sensor readout compatible with tag integration.
