Viktiga resultat som projektet gav
Yes, the purpose and aim was to establish collaboration with Harvey Cantors lab and this aim is met. The international collaboration with Prof. Harvey Cantor in Harvard Medical School has been established. Prof. Cantor has provided a supporting letter for Xiaoyang Wangs application to Vinnova compete proposal.
Långsiktiga effekter som förväntas
The collaboration is established and already ended up with one publication on PNAS*. The other collaborating projects are on running in Göteborg now. *Leavenworth JW, Wang X, Wenander CS, Spee P, Cantor H. Mobilization of natural killer cells inhibits development of collagen-induced arthritis. PNAS. 2011 Aug 30;108 (35):14584-9. Impact Factor: 9.77; Wang X is equal contribution first author.
Upplägg och genomförande
During year 2010 Xiaoyang Wang has spent 7 months in Prof. Cantors lab in Danan-Farber cancer institute and running collaboration projects. Now we already have one co-publication on PNAS where Xiaoyang Wang and a Post Doc fellow in Dr. Cantors lab shared the co-first authorship.
