Viktiga resultat som projektet gav
The identification and development of modelling tools to calculate the design temperature up from the ground has been achieved. It has been shown using Polishuset data and experimental studies that existing tools can be used, even for cases with as low levels of peak cooling power as Polishuset. The COP has also been possible to measure and quantify. Also suggestions on how to proceed in a new Bygginnovationen project, to validate the calculation and design for a more typical office building with normal cooling power level, have been specified.
Långsiktiga effekter som förväntas
Temperature: Comparisons between simulations and measurements have showed that at least 3 different existing modelling tools can be used (at different design phases of a project) to simulate temperature exiting the borehole field. However, to gain further confidence in the identified tools, more comparisons in new projects have to be carried out. Energy: The predicted high COP has been validated through measurements, though it was not at the same level as anticipated. Here, also a more typical office building should be measured and evaluated to check for even higher values of COP.
Upplägg och genomförande
Calculations and measurements of temperatures have been carried out by Chalmers. Simulations and comparisons have been performed by Chalmers. Calculations and measurements of energy and COP have been carried out by Skanska Teknik. Temperatures and flow meters used for thermal and energy measurements have been calibrated by Chalmers. The lower-than-expected energy demands of Polishuset in Rosengård possibly have some impact on the results and it should thus be further investigated.
