A new recipe for the food system is a long-term effort to meet the system and policy challenges that hinder innovation and change in the food area. It should contribute to key actors working together to build capacity and conditions for innovation and sustainability in the Swedish food chain.

Five top areas with great potential

Together with actors from different parts of society, Vinnova has identified five leading areas with the potential to radically improve the food system. During 2022 and 2023, we gather key players around these themes to identify common objective and build capacity to contribute together to a sustainable and competitive food system. The ambition is to give the actors opportunity to experiment and test new ground-breaking solutions. It should create the conditions to be able to apply for funding for long-term innovation environments in autumn 2023.
