The Green Deal Call is one of the instruments for the European Green Deal to mobilize research and innovation in the aim to achieve the objectives in the Green Deal, primarily to Europe to become the first carbon neutral miniscule latest by 2050.
The European Green Deal covers all sectors of the economy, in particular transport, energy, agriculture, buildings and industries such as steel, cement, information and communication technologies, textiles and chemicals.
Project funded under the European Green Deal are expected to yield tangible results within a relatively short time frame. In order to create benefits and visibility for citizens, the call focuses on concrete results based on the main priorities within the European Green Deal.
The calls will open shortly and there are also several opportunities to network around the calls. We list some events on this page.
October 13, 2020: Virtual network meeting within the Green Deal
Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) invites to a virtual network meeting regarding the Green Deal together with Enterprise Ireland, Invest NI and Northern Ireland National Contract Points. The meeting is an all-day event with information and networking.

October 27, 2020: Social sciences and humanities in the Green Deal
Attend a virtual network meeting! Interdisciplinarity is an important part of the efforts that will be funded under the Green Deal and encouraged throughout the program. To expand the possibilities for interdisciplinary collaborations, NCPs CaRE and Net4Society (network for national contact persons) invite you to a virtual network meeting on the calls within the Green Deal that are particularly high relevance for the social sciences and humanities.
