Syfte och mål
This project has been developing a detailed B-project proposal for studying cyber security when residential building ICT systems are integrated with the power grid ICT systems and other applications defining the smart building. The focus of the proposal is on threat, vulnerability, risk, and consequence analysis of the ICT systems as a means to build trust between parties, focusing on privacy issues and on how to enable systems to adapt to changes of the ICT systems. The reference case is Stockholm Royal Seaport (SRS) and associated research projects.
Resultat och förväntade effekter
The project has developed ideas and identified areas for further research and development for security to enable trust in the ICT systems between stakeholders and thereby contribute to a healthy and competitive market. The main outcomes are established cooperation with other Vinnova projects, and the foundation for a potential B project proposal. For the B proposal, the constellation has been extended and to ensure communications between the other research and innovation projects at SRS. Two of the project partners also participated in an EU FP7 application.
Upplägg och genomförande
The project leader and technical coordinator organized meetings regularly involving the partners (including new ones). Initially the focus was on characterizing and refining the proposed ideas to address the security challenges. Goals for the proposed research on security have been defined in order to develop new technology adapted to the security and privacy needs of smart buildings. Invitations, and subsequently discussions, with new partners (in particular Telia and Ericsson) has been an important work as has discussions with, and the studying of, other SRS related projects.
