Open Cyber-Physical System Model-Driven Certified Development (OPENCPS)
Syfte och mål
Objective and Goal
ools and environments for model-based development of cyber-physical systems are becoming increasingly complex and critical for the industry: tool interoperability, vendor lock-ins, and tool life-cycle support are some of the challenges. The project aims to create an open source development environment that combines Modelica, UML and FMI. Furthermore, the project is focused on increasing the simulation speed of Modelica models and FMUs, and on methods for certified code generation.
Result and Expected Effects
The project contributes to an increased industrial competitiveness by addressing challenges related to 1) efficiency and quality of verification, validation, testing activities, 2) interoperability of the key-technology standards Modelica/ UML/Functional Mock-up Interface (FMI), and 3) increased speed of execution, simulation, and dynamic optimization of models.
Approach and Implementation
The project organization ensures a tight collaboration between tool and methodology developers and end users. Several industrial demonstrators will be specified at the beginning of the project and used for development of methods and tools, and for results validation.
