Purpose and goal

To design and demonstrate a safe, economical and energy-efficient boarding system for offshore wind power. The goal is partially met. During the course of work, informing and gathering information from the industry´s expertise. The goal is met. To strengthen our IP protection in the regions where offshore wind power is on the rise. The goal is met.

Expected results and effects

The project has so far resulted in a system, which according to the industry can replace the methods used today, for a safe, cost-effective and environmentally-friendly boarding solution for offshore wind power. A strong IP protection is emerging in the regions where offshore wind power is viable. We have not reached all the way to a full-scale demonstration plant, but with the response from the industry, we will carry out the entire demonstration project when permits are given by the port of Oskarshamn.

Planned approach and implementation

To produce documentation and components for a full-scale demonstration facility using simulations and strength calculations. To inform and question the industry about how our solution can replace today´s methods of boarding and solving its problems. To defend, pursue and extend our IP protection in relevant regions
