Purpose and goal
The primary objective of the project which was to complete an international scalable product through investigation and development of existing prototype has been achieved. Right now, we do have a very scalable product with final touches, and a tested market to introduce the product to. Furthermore, MySay has a better structure now which is not comparable to the time we started this project. While none of MySay shareholders have ever received any sort of financial compensation, we managed to use our funds to create jobs for students who are keen to be a part of something big we make together.
Expected results and effects
With two new shareholders, an advisory board comprised of four women with expertise in Retail, Finance, and Leadership, and two men with expertise in Human Resources, and e-Commerce, MySay now has a better structure, designed to achieve its goals. By employing students, we managed to in-source most of the product development and keep the knowledge in the house, yet train our future managers with real close to action work. As a result, MySay is now ready to commercialize all its services and start the expansion phase in soon future.
Planned approach and implementation
Even though the project suffered from a tiny delay at the beginning of the summer, where most resources were not available due to the summer holidays, we managed to overcome the time barriers by working hard during all weekends since the start. To make sure we bring in the right resources, all paid-interns went through a selection process that helped us to find the exact people we needed. The criteria for finding the right suppliers were merely, efficiency, passion, and time management; thus, we had a good run with the vendors and suppliers as well.
