Purpose and goal

Purchasing power at customers and interest in wound healing were verified and industry contacts were collected. Website, descriptive material, visualization and explanatory video were created. Instead of planned website promotion and visitor activity analysis, the approach was changed to minimize risk of brand damage with unclear messages. In the new approach, deeper user interactions were conducted through interviews and participation at the veterinary fair. A user-, maintenance-, and manufacturer-friendly design on the handheld device was developed

Expected results and effects

1. Improved plasma pen and device design - Good validation results, continue with in-depth validations and experience gathering 2. Produced information material - info brochure, film, webpage 3. Identified narrower focus group for initial commercialization 4. Identified key feature of the product 5. Better contacts in networks that will be used in further development 6. Patentable construction 7. Preliminary market and user validation - In-depth investigation is needed 8. Roadmap for further steps in design development is developed (Bild 6)

Planned approach and implementation

The user interactions were conducted through 6 interviews with practicing veterinarians and 2 observations at animal clinics. Based on this, we have developed further features and information structure layout. In parallel, we have examined the European market for purchasing power and models of veterinary activities through statistical data. The new design was developed based on veterinary feedback and regulatory requirements. With the new prototype we conducted tests with users, biological samples, EMC samples, air samples and a new exposure to at an industry fair
