Purpose and goal
The purpose of the project was to develop hardware and software for individual control of pixels in our proprietary display technology. In addition, the project aimed at identifying partners for the implementation of the project. Difficulties in developing a stable and durable prototype meant that the development goals were not met. Several partners and potential customers were identified that will be very valuable in the future.
Expected results and effects
The result of the project has meant that various technological challenges have emerged. This has given insight into how technological development is to be planned and implemented in the future, but also how the technology should be adapted to meet the requirements for identified entry markets. Despite unsuccessful project goals, the result is considered to be favorable as it gives us both technical and market feedback that will assist in reaching the market.
Planned approach and implementation
What will be done better for future projects is to more clearly identify the fundamental issues that will be investigated and resolved, as well as in which order. Also create a stronger market link that validates technology development. In practice, the implementation was carried out on schedule and according to plan.
