Purpose and goal

The whole project (Phase 1 & 2) has been designed to prepare MyVoxAB for international launch. In order to establish the new company, this 1st project has achieved the following objectives: - An updated bizplan with a refined market entry plan. - Manufacturing. and 1st test of prototype MEMS ultrasound ship with a MEMS Foundry - IPR analysis and 1st submitted SE.patent applic. (1730231-6) - Documentation for follow-up projects is prepared - Establishment of a ecosystem of collaborative partners - Involved potential customers as well as review of possible sales channels.

Expected results and effects

This phase-1 project has provided clear analyzes of the features that increases customer benefit and add value for the users We have gained a better insight what customers are looking for and what areas of guesture control that are best suited as the first MyVox application. Through an in-depth market analysis we have produced refined biz- & market entry plans. A 1st coarse IPR strategy with 3 IDs and one submitted patent application. A new 1st set of prototype ultrasonic sensors successfully manufac. Test equip. acquired to verify function of MyVox product. New investors on board May 2017.

Planned approach and implementation

The technical development and conceptual testing of ultrasound technology was done in 4 WPs. The technology usability in guest control with applications such as security, ADAS vehicles, smartphones and game&infotainment industries was successfully studied. Prototype MEMS components made by Silex were tested with new acoustics tools. Analysis of market potential and the competitive situation, as well as financial and IPR strategies, have been conducted with external consultants and market data from Internet. The work has involved first contact with potential customers.
