Purpose and goal
The aim of this project is to verify product and technical solution, develop strategy to ensure the integrity and security of users and customers, as well as verifying payment model and develop a marketing and market entry strategy for the African market. The work has been carried out with good results and generated new insights on strategy and development. The work has begun to prioritize further development of necessary functions, developing new partnerships, and protecting brands and product in preparation for future sales.
Expected results and effects
Tests have been carried out with end-users and potential customers and cooperation with authorities in East Africa has been initiated. Technology, product and design are verified and further prioritized features are developed to prepare for launch of the app. Politics and strategy to ensure the integrity and data protection of individuals are developed. Map Project integrates GDPR into all work and are currently at the forefront of privacy by design and default as encouraged by the GDPR. Business model and market entry strategy are developed.
Planned approach and implementation
The team has worked iteratively in collaboration with end-users and potential clients in East Africa, conducted desk studies, field studies, and workshops internally and with users. The team continues development based on the results. During the the project, we have come to realise that we need to simplify our process further and conduct smaller tests with customers who control their whole value chain. Small, iterative, and simple tests of function and reception, and collect data as a basis for future sales. In parallel, additional features should be added to prepare for sales.
