Important results from the project
The aim of the project was to develop a vision about an improved primary care for patients with chronic pain. The project should also formulate measurable interim goals, which leads to the vision. A structured and stable form of collaboration would be built up.
Expected long term effects
The project resulted in the vision "Evidence-based person-centered care for all patients with chronic pain within primary care, in 2030". The project has formulated five measurable goals, in the following areas: 1) Knowledge and skills development, 2) Interactive clinical knowledge support, 3) Identification and triage, 4) Providing and enabling treatment alternatives, and 5) Care and nursing from the patient perspective. In addition, a collaboration structure was built, in order to be able to continue work within a following project.
Approach and implementation
Throughout the work, there has been a great deal of networking and to understand the reality of different parties. The work has involved a lot of meetings and workshops. This part was more extensive than we initially thought, but extremely important for us to get broad and complete a picture of reality. In a continuation project, an ongoing analysis of the world will continue to be a key element.
