Important results from the project

The intention of the project was to demonstrate, with a fully functional prototype, that our vision of an intelligent, self learning and automated insurance advisory service is viable. The project has fulfilled its intention and has given the company valuable knowledge of upcoming challenges within technology, user experience and go-live. The objective was to produce an effective offer as a basis when initiating a round of funding from venture capital investors. The objective is accomplished.

Expected long term effects

Our primary impact goal is to secure financing of a public launch of DrJones - Digital Insurance Advisor by end 2017. We estimate that our desired impact will be reached as a result of the project, but not just yet. The project objectives were partly a functional digital insurance advisory service within a limited product area, and partly a business prospectus for venture capital investors. The project objectives are accomplished.

Approach and implementation

The project was divided into three phases. An initial analysis phase which was carried out according to our plan. During the analysis phase, we conducted a target audience calibration of the prototype in order to maximize our possibilities of a successful future public launch. An implementation phase where the prototype was developed. Technology constraints were identified during the development of the semantic text analysis. We reached a level of automation of approx. 55-60% compared to our initial objective of 100%. Finally, a summing-up phase was carried out according to our plan.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
