Advanced digitalisation, which started in 2021 is a long-term effort. About a hundred innovation projects are already underway and 62 are in the process of being started. During the years 2023-2027, the program will cover around SEK 4.5 billion. Half of this is public funds and half is co-financing from industry. The open calls for proposals and other activities offered within the program are aimed at actors who, in collaboration, can contribute to developing advanced system solutions for industry.

Advanced digital solutions are to be developed in Sweden

The program focuses on the development of the future's advanced, sustainable digital solutions that increase the competitiveness of Swedish industry. It should also contribute to us maintaining the forefront of research and development in Sweden and becoming a country where the next generation of advanced digital solutions are developed.

Advanced digitalisation is a partnership between the state and business. The state, represented by Vinnova, finances up to half of the program's budget and administers various initiatives. A program office based at Teknikföretagen, has been in place since 2022 with the task of running the business as efficiently as possible with the industry's needs at the center.
