Purpose and goal

Altogether we created knowledge that clearly points to a great potential for a platform for visualization of commercial real estate in AR and VR. Demand is high for products like these since competition is hard between landlords, vacancy rates are at historically high levels, much driven by major new construction. We learned that traditional views are experienced by many tenants difficult. Decision makers have difficulty prioritizing these tours and internationalization makes virtual tours more interesting both to save money, time and environment.

Expected results and effects

We feel that the project has delivered as we have taken important steps in the US in our understanding of current constraints in visualization of commercial real estate. We have documented many different customer requests for the construction of a digital platform for visualization of commercial real estate, to create user friendliness, deliberate visualization and basic requirements for commercialization of commercial real estate. We also feel that the project has given the knowledge we need to continue the work on preparation for the application to Eurostar.

Planned approach and implementation

The trip to the United States took place as planned and during week 4. We met landlords, brokers and other actors in the commercial real estate industry. We learned a lot about how visualization of commercial real estate is being made today and what wishes and challenges are. We met 9 of Cushman & Wakefield´s customers and learned a lot about their needs.
