Purpose and goal
The project ´Sustainable production in Sweden as a high-wage country´ during 2012 developed a basis for a production conference organized by FKG and IMIT. The material needed an update as the conference was postponed until April 2013. The updated material could -completed with information on the German national research project Industrie 4.0 - be used in yet another FKG / IMIT-production conference in October 2013. The two conferences were attended by about 80 participants.
Results and expected effects
Contribute to maintaining and developing the manufacturing industry´s production technology level, with special focus on the automotive industry and its suppliers in the FKG. Many from the audience - especially at the conference in October - wanted more information
Approach and implementation
Two PowerPoint presentations - one for each conference - have been developed. See the enclosures. For similar ev. projects in the future it could be discussed how the cost / time to develop the basic material could be used not only as a basis for the two conferences, but also for other activities such as newspaper articles and other types of presentations.
