Funding from Vinnova SEK 500 000
Project duration November 2018 - May 2019
Status Ongoing

Purpose and goal

With the project we will gain insight to provide a solid foundation for commercialization and financial investments. PeptiSystems will: -Work with customers to evaluate and validate the technology and confirm value propositions. -Confirm FTO and determine the patent strategy based on two key patentable innovations. -Work with customers and determine the ROI/ business case that PeptiSystems solution would enable. -Evaluate market conditions in detail, contacting more customers in different market segments, and evaluate key competing technologies and competitors.

Expected results and effects

A feasibility report including a business plan will be generated containing the following: -Customer technology validation Confirmation from customers that product quality is same or better compared to existing technology Customer confirmation on other key value propositions Determine if changes/improvements need to be made after the customer’s feedback -Freedom to operate and a patent strategy -Business case showing the ROI for a customer using the PeptiSystems technology compared to existing solutions -Detailed market study

Planned approach and implementation

-Work with 2-3 customers to evaluate the technology to confirm peptide quality. Peptides chosen by the customers will be made to show yield and purity compared to the customer’s existing instrument -Generate a report based on FTO analysis and develop a patent strategy with a patent consultant -Work with 2-3 customers to look at their production processes and determine the business case and ROI that Peptisystems solution would enable -Evaluate additional customer segments by interviewing potential customers. Evaluate competitors in more detail and by discussing with key customers
