Important results from the project

LunaLEC participated in a matchmaking session in NanJing, in order to identify new Chinese suppliers and customers. We succeeded in gaining exposure to a number of interesting businesses which we had no prior contact with, and which businesses we would not have met if we hadn´t been in NanJing.

Expected long term effects

We started discussions with one potential supplier of a critical component, which could lower our BoM substantially. We started discussions with one potential customer with qualified interest in our product. Additionally we got several more new contacts, the quality of which remains to be verified.

Approach and implementation

Vinnova coordinated the Swedish delegation to CITTC, China Jiangsu Conference for International Technology Transfer and Commercialization. This allowed LunaLEC to request partnering meetings with local Chinese companies interested in technology transfer between Sweden and China. The Chinese companies provide very little useful information, but we identified a few potential businesses for collaboration. We also had the opportunity to make an oral presentation, which further increased our exposure.
