Purpose and goal

The renewal of civil preparedness had the goal of developing missions and analyzes for the renewal of the civil preparedness system. The project was carried out jointly by MSB and RISE Totalt, 122 people participated in mission meetings and considerably more were part of the project. This was in line with the ambition to mobilize and engage the emergency system. The project achieved its objective of developing system-oriented objectives/missions and the purpose of submitting a proposal for a program office for an Impact Innovation-program.

Expected results and effects

The results of the project was a well-executed mission process that led to a proposal of relevance for a program office for Impact Innovation. Results and effects (the outcome) can thus be said to have been achieved. An important effect that was also achieved was that networks were created between RISE and MSB and actors within the broader preparedness system as well as between different actor groups that participated in mission processes and conversations linked to the project. Another effect is a program office in collaboration between MSB, RISE, FHS, GU and UMU. A result of the process.

Planned approach and implementation

The project was based on the work packages: Develop missions with analyses: Engage partners and develop organization Strategic analysis The anchor of the implementation was the mission process three meetings. The analysis and mobilization were clearly linked to this main process so that the preparation project would lead to a needs- and actor-driven mission and an expedient office. A total of 122 people participated directly in the mission process. That the process was inclusive and open was an important factor for the relevance of the application.
