Purpose and goal
The goal of the project is developing a sea-based Test site, in a first step to coordinate existing test permissions and infrastructure for three test areas, outside Lysekil. The goal of the planning stage has been to deliver in accordance to Vinnova´s checklist for test beds and decide whether we will proceed into the Test site design stage and apply for funding. This has been done and decision has been made to continue into the design phase. An application has been submitted to Vinnova´s Test Bed Program for continued financial support.
Expected results and effects
The planning stage has gathered stakeholders, working for establishing a coordinated Swedish Test site for early development, where eg. reliability of components and systems are tested in milder sea conditions. The Test site is aimed for target groups in aquaculture and marine engineering. The offer includes test planning, testing and demonstration, monitoring and service and analysis of measurement data. In addition, convey of services such as boats, divers, craft services and accommodation. Coordination is expected to contribute to more efficient used Test sites and equipment
Planned approach and implementation
The project has followed the planning checklist with particular focus on evaluating the needs that the Test site can convert into requested offers. The project also has focus on the current market situation in the thematic areas in which the Test site operates. The planning has resulted in a decision to proceed to the design and realization phase. In the partner group, RISE has been the project owner and a likely future operator. The group also content of licensors and owner of infrastructure, authorities, companies with testing needs, where several have a need within a couple of years.
