Technical export concerning Green methane from residuals to grid and pump

Important results from the project

A strategic research and innovation agenda ´Technology Export around Green methane from waste products to grid and pump´ has been developed within the project in cooperation between 22 participants. 28 research questions have been formulated under the following categories: i) Issues of investigative character ii) Technical-scientific research questions iii) Economic and Social Research questions The questions highlight the development needs of participating companies / organizations / institutions to facilitate an increased Swedish exports in the field.

Expected long term effects

This work has led to new contacts and a number of new potential collaborations between the participating companies and academies. Common challenges and issues have been discussed and by the jointly formulated research questions, future R & D efforts are expected to be more clearly adapted to the actual need. The research issues identified will be disseminated within the sector to accelerate consultants and academics to formulate applications to find answer to the questions and develop the knowledge required for increased Swedish exports.

Approach and implementation

The project has been led by Swedish Gas Technologt Centre. Three workshops has been conducted with representatives of the participating companies, organizations and academies. The focus during the three workshops were 1. The industries perceived technical knowledge gaps for increased export 2.How meets the academia the perceived knowledge gaps by the industry 3. The industries perceived social and economic challenges for exports to countries outside northern Europe 28 research questions have been formulated, processed and refined by the participating companies and academies.
