Project duration December 2014 - December 2016
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

The aim was to initiate the implementation of the strategic agenda for service innovation. The goal was that, through a number of activities, establish a forum for the exchange of knowledge and experiences between different stakeholders in need of increased knowledge about service innovation. Through this project, we´ve created such a meeting place. The set targets, to increase exchange of knowledge and developed new methods for collaboration in the field of service innovation, are achieved satisfactorily.

Expected results and effects

Through activities and experimentation on various forms of cooperation between different stakeholders, we have created tools, methods and interfaces between industry, academia, institutes and the public sectors that will continue to generate exchange of knowledge and experiences on service innovation in a way that should contribute to greater understanding of how service innovation can contribute to enhanced competitiveness.

Planned approach and implementation

The project has been implemented in accordance with the project plan and our activities have received the response we were aiming at. The biggest challenge has been to create forms for coordination of the academic expertise and we have collaborated to find the forms for this. Instead of conducting a field study, we chose to invite to a seminar for international exchanges held in Sweden, as we considered this as a more efficient method for knowledge transfer from the international arena.
