Purpose and goal
The project has focused on identifying the intellectual assets within Scope360, compared to competitors´ intellectual assets and intellectual property rights, and with it as a basis designed and IP strategy that manages the assets to strengthen the business strategy.
Expected results and effects
We have: 1. identified and evaluated the principal and business strategically important assets of the company 2. a good picture of how similar companies manage their intangible assets 3. developed and implemented a concrete, short-term action plan for our intangible assets. 4. developed a long-term IP strategy that is rooted in our business strategy, for managing our intangible assets.
Planned approach and implementation
We have conducted workshops with key employees and the focus has been on identifying intellectual assets in the company and making an initial evaluation of their business strategic relevance. We have looked at our competitors, how they manage their intangible assets and how their business models look. We also look at ownership relationships. The consultant has analyzed all the results. We have jointly evaluated the results and followed up the IP strategy in the management team together with the consultant.
