Purpose and goal
The aim of the project is to enable the company to develop a strategy for managing our intellectual property. The project focuses on identifying the company´s intellectual assets within the project Scope360 , comparing its intellectual property and intellectual property rights, and then basing it into an IP strategy that manages the assets to strengthen the business strategy.
Expected results and effects
After completion of the project, we expect that 1) have identified and evaluated the business strategic important assets of the company, 2) have a good picture of how other similar companies manage their intangible assets, 3) have a concrete, short-term action plan for our intangible assets and 4) a long-term IP Strategy, which is rooted in our business strategy, for managing our intangible assets.
Planned approach and implementation
A part will be based on interviews/workshops with key employees. The focus will be on identifying intellectual assets in the company and making an initial evaluation of their business strategic relevance. Ownership will also be highlighted where relevant. The consultant will analyze the results and we will evaluate together. We will look at our competitors, how they handle their intangible assets and business models.
