Purpose and goal
The goal and purpose of the project have been achieved beyond our expectation. We met with several European potential partners and decided to further discuss and negotiate our participation in a consortium which will submit a project proposal under the upcoming Horizon 2020 SC2 ”Sustainable Food Security” and ”Rural Renaissance” calls.
Expected results and effects
The planned meetings have taken place according to the plan. During the brokerage event, we met with 5 potential consortium coordinators and we decided to continue the collaboration with two consortia. Moreover, during the event, we had the possibility to present and introduce our company to a larger audience and we have identified several potential partners and customers for our future products in the area of food safety and traceability. The event has generated 27 relevant sales and partnership leads that we will follow up during the next week.
Planned approach and implementation
Under a very intensive schedule, the Horizon 2020 Societal Challenge 2 information week has given us the possibility to meet with several EU project and consortium coordinators, potential partners, and customers. The event was well organized by the EU Commission and we have not encountered any difficulties in executing our plan.
