Purpose and goal
The aim of the project has been to develop actors organizational and managerial capabilities in organize and lead collaborative innovation, based on knowledge from research and actors’ own experiences and knowledges. Innovation leaders of collaborative innovation project is a new role that has not been recognized and developed enough. Therefore, the aim and goal has been to develop and test methods for leading collaborative innovation better and also with the aim to better understand the role of the innovation leader in collaborative settings.
Expected results and effects
Activities that will enhance the utilization of research-based knowledge to practice that are related to leading, managing and taking part in collaborative innovation With research-based knowledge as a ground, collaborate with practice to enhance the development of methods and tools for how to lead, manage and participate in collaborative innovation activities. Support the creation of networks for innovation leaders and leaders of collaborative innovation Coach intermediaries in developing their role to host collaborative innovation projects, platforms and arenas.
Planned approach and implementation
The program has consisted of the following main parts_ -WS with actors in the field of collaborative innovation, introducing the knowledge from research and practical experience and identified challenges. -Based on identified practical challenges in leading collaborative innovation projects, discussions and work in many rounds with different sets of participants to develop and test methods and tools were carried out -Coaching for analyzing and further develop the tested methods to better understand next step and what works and what doesn’t.
