Purpose and goal
The project Production Angels - scaling up and national rollout is now finished. In total, since the start of the project, Produktionsänglar has made contact with 294 startups, of which 158 have applied and 79 have participated in the program. In addition to this, 17 startups received coaching before the program started. Through the activity introduction to industrialization, 97 startups and 41 business coaches from 28 incubators have participated and received skills development in industrialization. In total, 193 startups and 41 business coaches have received support.
Expected results and effects
During the project, two regional nodes, one in South in collaboration with Ideon Science Park, and one in West in collaboration with Science Park Jönköping have been established. Production angels thus not only support startups, but contribute positively to collaboration in the innovation system. In addition, several networks have been formed in the form of production experts, suppliers and financiers who want to support startups to realize their innovations. This leads to more startups and manufacturers starting cooperation, which results in more jobs, tax revenue and welfare.
Planned approach and implementation
The project plan with the rollout of the program in collaboration with regional nodes has worked well and contributed to the rollout and scaling up of Production Angels. Through collaborations with several Science Parks and incubators, more startups could be reached and the system integration between the organizations could be improved. It has also contributed to the building of networks of startups, suppliers, production experts and financiers who can collaborate.
