Purpose and goal

The goal of the project was to develop a new service that could help webs hop owners to analyze their customer behavior and help them to more effectively get customers to their site. The service is a new software that is integrated into a e-platform for web shops. The project successfully developed and released the service. One important part of the success was to all the way integrate users view and creativity into the development process

Results and expected effects

The project started out from an innovative idea and has during one year developed, tested and launched a new service with already paying customers. The project has contributed to better research on service development and methods for user involvement. Finally the project has also developed knowledge on how to work in a new partnership, which has given the participants new insights and competences.

Approach and implementation

The project had its starting point in a user oriented way of thinking. We aimed at looking at user behavior as a way to create the foundation for analysis of how to develop a we shop. The development of the software has therefore been a balance between using all the user input and at the same time drive the development forward in order to come to a solution that works within the e-platform. Another challenge was to combine two companies style of working with development processes as well as company cultures. We developed compromises and better communication along the way.
