Important results from the project
The project´s goal was to develop PRICISE - an innovative, web-based platform for modern and customer value-based pricing. The project activities have achieved this goal. During the project, we have completed all the activities presented in the application. The product is ready for large-scale marketing and launch.
Expected long term effects
The outcome of the project enables PriceGain to launch an innovative and unique product on the international market. The product takes PriceGain to a new level: the company establishes a new business area with a stronger knowledge base for continued innovation. We are establishing our own market niche and define a new state-of-the-art in systems for price optimization. The product strengthens long-term competitiveness and growth potential of PriceGain, both in Sweden and internationally.
Approach and implementation
The project was divided into four work packages. We began with performing a market study to determine the market potential for the new product (WP1). During WP2, we have defined the system specifications, workflows and user interface for PRICISE. During WP3, we have developed the practical design of the system. The project was concluded with a user study with a reference customer when PRICISE was tested in an operational environment. Test results have been used to optimize the platform functions.
