Pre-study of competence center in biomedical engineering in Gothenburg

Purpose and goal

The project´s goal was to gather a medtech constellation consisting of companies, biomedical engineering researchers, health representatives and other actors in the innovation system, and then write an application to Vinnova´s call "Kompetenscentrum 2020". The purpose is to be able to obtain funding to establish a biomedical engineering center in Gothenburg.

Expected results and effects

The project´s two work packages have been fulfilled, ie. a strong medtech constellation has been assembled, documentation has been compiled, the application has been written and submitted to Vinnova. The expected effect is that the application will be granted by Vinnova, because it is so strong!
