Important results from the project

The purpose of the Project to analyse the National Food Agency´s proposal for regulations on control of slaughter using a PolicyLab method is deemed to be met. Likewise, the objective of creating understanding and acceptance for each other´s activities and for regulatory needs.

Expected long term effects

The work has given the desired increased understanding of the meaning of the proposal and for each other´s conditions. It has, to a large extent, given knowledge about how the National Food Agency can involve the target group in development work in a way that can facilitate understanding and contribute to a good dialogue.

Approach and implementation

The interviews and surveys that were done before the workshop helped, together with the workshop, to get an image from different perspective and also of how the image could change through dialogue. The consultant´s compilation was interesting, but it is good that the Agency also got the complete material. It was very good that an external consultant led the work.
