Purpose and goal
The project is abreviated ´Kantil´. The group of partners in Kantil has fulfilled the goal to gather a new group with a larger number of partners for a common action on the important issues concerning all sorts of wireless services outside densly populated areas.
Results and expected effects
The project has converged into a common intresest in exploiting the 700 MHz band in new and unortodox ways. This band will accordong to the present plan be available in spring 2017, this fits excellent into the time line of Kantil.
Approach and implementation
The enlarged Kantil group is now applying for step 2. The content follows in principle the road map laid out in step 1, but will be significanly more detailed. So called spotty coverage and real test beds will be part of the activities.
