Participation in Swedish-Indian AI Symposium

Purpose and goal

In line with the Innovation Partnership between Sweden and India, the AI for All conference in Delhi gathered government decision makers, academic experts and leading industry executives from both countries to explore applications for AI. The conference had a focused thematic session to initiate new industry collaborations and joint research projects. A workshop co-arranged by Vinnova followed, then a meeting with AI entrepreneurs in Delhi, and finally a company visit to discuss the AI-controlled factories of the future.

Expected results and effects

New contacts for possible future projects and for research exchanges. Strengthened network among situated Swedish representatives, and between Swedish and Indian researchers. Many interesting companies active in India, some of these Swedish, participated.

Planned approach and implementation

The trip included active participation in a conference, workshop, entrepreneur meet-up, and company- and university site visits.
