Purpose and goal
By using recombinant technology we have now developed and patented a new form of carbohydrate-binding reagents for applications within clinical diagnostics. The technology is also applicable to quality control analysis of glycoprotein based pharmaceuticals such as therapeutic antibodies. The goal with the present project is to produce a panel of unique carbohydrate-binding reagents and to verify potential applications within clinical diagnostics and quality control.
