Purpose and goal
The aim of the project is to stimulate interest for nano technology by industry. The project carried out an AIMday in nano technology, a match making tool developed by Uppsala Innovation. The AIMday was carried out on September 27 in Uppsala in conjuction with NanoForum 2017. As a result 9 workshops were carried out based on probelms formulated by industry and resulted in 5 pre-study applications.
Expected results and effects
At the AIMday 5 pre-studies were identified. They will be executed during the first half of 2018 and have the potential to lead to developments in the companies involved. The response from the company representatives was very positive . Nine questions leading to 5 pre-studies signifies that the matchmaking was very efficient.
Planned approach and implementation
Companies primarily in the RISE network were contacted and questions were identified. This effort required the most resources. These questions were fed into a data base as part of the AIMday concept and researchers were invited to express interest. Using a matchmaking tool being part of the AIMday process questions and researchers could be optimized. During the AIMday 9 seminars were held.
