Purpose and goal
The objective of the project was to develop a strategy for intellectual property rights, that identifies assets that are most important to protect from a business strategic point of view through external review of our existing patent portfolio, ownership rights and agreements.
Expected results and effects
Expectations with this project were to develop an intellectual property strategy through external review of our existing patent portfolio, ownership rights and agreements. The outcome of these activities resulted in a plan for managing our assets and an IP strategy that supports our business strategy and strengthen the company´s position in relation to potential competitors.
Planned approach and implementation
Together with external experts, we have review the company´s IP portfolio in order to identify which assets are most important from a business strategy point of view. We have also analyzed and reviewed our current agreements to identify actions needed from an IP perspective to move our product to the market.
