Purpose and goal
The target has been to create opportunities to take an active role in the creation of a global ecosystem for Sport Innovation. Activities to build a concrete interntional cooperation are initiated by the Accelerator program now under way in parallell in Sweden and at globaly leading Sport Tech Universities in UK, AUS and ITA coordinated by the organisation Hype, based in UK and Israel.
Expected results and effects
Sweden, Stockholm and SOA has taken a position in a global ecosystem for Sport Innovation. This can be the start for an increased international cooperation to attract competence and entrepreneurship to Sweden and at the same time offer an interntional pathway for swedish companies. A final evaluation of the project will be done when it is completed in June.
Planned approach and implementation
The start of the project was delayed. That became an advatage allowing for thorough preparations, enhancing the quality of the actions and giving proper time for establishing a good cooperaton with the other organisations involved in the project.
