Purpose and goal
Instrument SME aims to package and disseminate results from R&I projects to SME and to increase researchers´ knowledge of SME´s challenges. The goal is to increase awareness of the development and innovation opportunities in more SME by giving companies access to easily accessible results, as well as to researchers and other companies with similar challenges and needs. One objective is also to be able to offer continued development and innovation support, which can be carried out by research institutes, universities and arenas such as the IUC network.
Expected results and effects
- Most of the R&I projects carry out packaging for SME: In this project, ten current R&I projects have been informed of the possibility, of which three packages have been completed and another four projects will carry out packaging within another project that has been granted. - Production2030 disseminate results to more companies in the form of Technical workshops, etc: 15 completed Technology Workshops with 197 company representatives from 97 companies - Results are made digitally available through Production2030´s web Packages are made available on Production2030´s website
Planned approach and implementation
Different types of activities have been carried out to contribute to increased understanding, interaction and exchange between academia, institutes, regional actors and SME in order to increase the dissemination and application of the new knowledge that is developed. Main Activities - Dialogue and anchoring with R&I projects and arenas, primarily the IUC network - Packaging of results in current R&I projects - Technology Workshops including follow-up for continuation - Communication: primarily website news and calendar updates and also Automation Småland´s annual conference
