Project duration January 2017 - August 2018
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

The IDC Network has a commission to distribute Innovationchecks directed to industrial and industrial related SMEs. The SMEs in focus are those interested in and able to initiate and accomplish an innovation oriented project or an IP-strategy. The goal in the subproject has been to identify, evaluate and in cooperation define a projectplan to be decided up on. After decision the plan will be set in action together with identifyed external competences.

Expected results and effects

The challenge has for the IUC coaches been to identify industrial SMEs that can fulfill the demands of an Innovationscheck. That includes to form a relevant projectplan that can be initiated and add businessvalue to the SME. In longer term several of these SMEs will continue their development process, increase their growth, cooperate with new competence partners and be more open to apply for additional public financing in open programs.

Planned approach and implementation

In the IDC Network, regional IUC companies and cooperative partners paricipate. The regional IDCs are owned by a majority of SMEs, larger companies and trade unions in their own region. A total number of approximately 30 project leaders within these regional IUCs have been working in the process from identifying through planning, signing agreements, accomplish a growthanalysis, to evaluating the projects. This has been supported by an multistepmodel for Innovationschecks and an instruction for the IP-checks.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
